Helping to clean all the chairs at our centre.  Our children are learning to be responsible and to look after equipment. One of the Khmer traditional games is called “Breaking the Jar”.  The children take turns to try to hit the jar with a stick.  The other children shout out lots of advice!! Before the children went home for the Khmer New Year break we had a special fun day at our Centre.  Here some of the children are playing dress-up … Many of the Khmer New Year games are very messy!  These children still have white powder all over their faces! There was a play about the death and resurrection of Christ ….. On Fun Fridays the children get to choose what activities and games they play.  Likheang is playing in the creative play area with her friend. Srey Phos, Sovandara and their friends are playing a traditional game called “Eating fruit”.  Our children love these special game days! Trainer Piseth prepared the jars in front of center for the next children’s game. The egg and spoon race!
